Questions?

Can I join without a metal detector?

Yes. Detectorists, collectors and history enthusiasts are welcome. The planned Free package includes community posts, comments, a profile and marketplace access alongside the basic map. No detector or GPS permission is required to participate. Registration currently follows the closed-beta invitation rules.

What changes for current beta testers?

The public-launch comparison does not change your current beta agreement or account quotas. Eligible Founding Members keep their existing permanent benefit.

Can I buy a subscription now?

Not yet. For users in Slovenia, annual payment by bank transfer to our Revolut account is planned; the full year must be paid in advance. Arrange it at support@detectmap.app; access will be confirmed manually after verifying payment. For other users worldwide, payment is planned through Stripe. Subscription purchases and bank transfers are not open yet. We do not collect payment on this page.

Do I need Detectorist for GPS?

For public-launch plans, GPS route recording and the coverage grid belong to Detectorist. Free includes the basic map and community membership. Current closed-beta access stays as agreed.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Access continues until the end of the paid period. It does not automatically refund payments already made. Statutory withdrawal rights apply to eligible online purchases, generally for 14 days from the conclusion of the contract. After that period, we do not offer partial refunds for unused time, except where required by law. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Is my data safe?

GPS locations and finds are private by default. We never sell your data. Details and our privacy contact are in the Privacy Policy.
